"Japanese, but no comparison to Japan!"

A review of Teri-Aki Restaurant by anonymous - Thursday 20th of November 2003

Teri-Aki is a very pleasant place to eat, but the food lacks the quality edge I enjoyed recently in Kyoto and Tokyo. Tuna sashimi is meltingly tender, but not that flavoursome and the Teri-Aki bento is a disappointing stir-fry served with a boring salad with sweetcorn and lettuce. The overcooked carrot and anonymous root vegetable hardly added to the experience! Overall, could do better.
