"Dodgy experience"A review of The Maharaja by JonRambo - Saturday 22nd of November 2003Advertisements
Have been here a few times previously and found it so-so. But on my last visit I had problems with: -service. Unfriendly and unobliging. The chap would have been better suited as a Bond villain than as a waiter. -food. One starter (a kebab variant) was luke warm, other starter (chicken chat) was good. Served up in a suspiciously rapid time. The curries were too onion heavy and overdosed with chillies. The menu is pretty expansive which rings alarm bells - do they actually differentiate much between the many curries on offer?? Won't be going back. Will try the nearby Cafe Naz next time - looked much better, if slightly more expensive. |
