"Not the best!"
A review of Kohinoor Tandoori Restaurant by Max, Cambridge. - Tuesday 25th of November 2003
Had a meal with 12 friends here the other night.
We phoned up 3 times during the week and once on the day of the meal to confirm they had a table booked. Each time they said that we had. Alas there was no room when we arrived, so we were ushered around the entire restaurant disturbing other diners. After much fuss (they acted like we were inconveniencing them) they decided to join three tables. This was of course after we told them we were off to one of the other restaurants on Mill road.
While we were eating another group of 20 were turned away and told to come back an hour and a half later!
On the whole, the food was average and the waiters were rude one of which frequently leered at one of the girls in our group - Not nice (and cringeworthy).
Not recommended. Try the Panahar on Norfolk Street ;)
