A review of American Express Europe by Mike - Thursday 11th of December 2003
As it is now the 11th of the month and I have not yet received my Amex statement, I thought I would call to ask why - just in case it had gone astray and I was about to find myself making large penalty payments. Imagine my frustration at not being able to make contact with a human being in Brighton in order to ask this simple question, but being asked by a compuvoice for not only my card number (reasonable) but also some other code about which I am in complete ignorance. This, after a month (November) in which I was charged interest on a clean account!
