"Play, have some drinks and meet nice people"
A review of The Vine (formerly The Boat Race) by Christian Keller - Thursday 18th of December 2003The Boat Race in Cambridge/UK was one of the first (and last) places I rushed into when I arrived first in Cambridge. The pub has a nice relaxed atmosphere in the inside and is always worth a (regular) visit.
Especially the Sunday (Blues) jam sessions I liked most. Starting in the afternoon, the sessions usually last until the evening. It is a good place to meet people (and to make friends), have some chats at the bar or to bring your own instrument in order to perform on stage with others. Sometimes the jams produce really fabulous music!
I enjoyed the sessions with Dom, Lee, Travor, Mike, Andy, and all the others I liked so much.
Go in the Boat Race - it´s great people and music!!!
