"Poor value - Marks & Spencer"

A review of Marks & Spencer by Jman - Tuesday 30th of November 1999

As far as I can make out, Marks and Spencer sell the same quality food as Sainsbury but charge an extra 20%. the only advantage shopping at M&S has over Sainsbury is that the queues in M&S arent quite as long as those in Sainsbury.

Also if Marks and Spencer's management are reading this, please don't ask your staff to robotically make 'polite conversation'. It's very obvious if you go in a few times and different people say 'Hello. How are you today?'. And it's completely false, and in my opinion degrading to your staff.
