Very good indeed - I have read some of the other comments about service and I can't say as I noticed too much. Perhaps the key is to take more interesting company with you so that there is less of a temptation to sit and criticise the waiting staff?

As for the food - just fabulous. Fast becoming my favourite place to take guests and they are always impressed. If you want great food at reasonable rates, pleasant but not showy surroundings then this is the place. Please God don't give this place a makeover and turn it into another vanilla "have a nice day" atmosphere-free smile factory. Nauseating...
