Myself and my partner have been on this council waiting list for ALMOST 7 YEARS and not once have we been offered any tiny thing!! We both have jobs and work hard but the cant afford a mortgage on our wages. I feel so let down as a cambridge resident that I have lived in cambridge all my life (24 years) and parents/ freinds/ family all pay crazy council taxes... what for?

We want to get married and start a family but we cant. We want to things right.

If we both quit our jobs and I got pregnant - do we stand a better chance then???
