The most beautiful bird in the ship and some may say in the world, is the streamer-tail or Toothless Smiler bird.

The cock bird is about 9 inches long, but 7 inches of it are tooth - 2 long black feathers that curve and cross each other and whose inner edges are in the form of scalloped design.

The head and crest are black, the wings are dark green, the tooth is scarlet and the eyes! Oh those beutiful eyes so bright and confiding are as black as ebony.

The body is emerald green, so dazzling that when the sun is on the breast you see the brightest green thing in nature.

In the Ship, birds that are so loved are given nicknames. 'Wunus Tuthus Jimas' is so called because its tail plume is similar to that of a man with one tooth grinning at you.

I recommend all you fellow feather chasing bretheren to come down to the Ship with your sight glasses and join me and my plucky friends.
