"re- hmmmmmm"

Parkside has the potential to be a really good school, but instead of hiring good teachers, they waste money on interactive whiteboards in almoust every room, which (most) staff dont have a clue how to use...
they also have spent alot of money on computers that can edit videos... again the staff have no idea how to use them, so most people just have to try and work it out themselves, asking a teacher for help will probably result in the teacher looking at it and just clicking on stuff and screwing up your work...
my friends media teacher did not even know the name of the adobe premeire software, which he was meant to be teaching them how to use...
and while all this is going on, rarther than spending money maybe on some training courses for the teachers or hiring someone who knows somthing... a plasma tv screen has appeared in the reception area (which no student is alowd anywhere near, and shows images from around the world on rotation, worth way over 1000 pounds) along with some plate glass windows and some pointless coloured lights...
some of the staff are also very out of touch with the students and are obsessed with anti bullying schemes, i know people who hav been given bullying records and temporary exclusions for stuff as trivial as asking to borrow lunch money off a friend....
I could go on and on but i cant be bothered to...
I understand the need for technology in school, and to keep it bullying free, but they are way over the top....
also i know it can be hard to recruit teachers, but we have even had a supply teacher who could barely speak english....
