Once you pass through the smoky crush in the front bar you will find a delightful back room housing books, antique lamps and a few small tables. The staff are helpful and friendly but the kitchen is evidently tiny and so food may be a little slow in coming. Not a problem as the atmostphere makes you want to linger. Highly recommended in the mid to upper price-range. A really nice place to take parents, a friend you haven't seen in a while or your partner. Upbeat but relaxed and the food is better than fine.
