"Lloyds TSB savings account loses you money!!!"

Yes, it's true. The Lloyds TSB Regular Savings Account's interest rate is below inflation!

On their website ( www.lloydstsb.com ), when listing the account's features, the bank boldly brags, 'attractive tiered rates of interest'!

Who are they trying to kid?

The so-called 'attractive tiered rates of interest' are in fact nothing short of pitiful at 0.08% per annum for balances below Â£200 and 0.16% for balances above Â£200.

So each year, your hard earned savings erode away! I suggest they change the name of the account to Loss Account, or even Loser's Account, since if you have one, you will lose money.
