This seems to be a new trend of putting a huge service charge on the bill which as some other reviewers have stated most people are too embarrassed to ask for it to be removed. I went to mama amalfi the food, was at best average, it looked and tasted like a ready meal, a glass of wine cost Ã‚Â£4.30 the tip on a 30 meal was about 4.50 for some reason so that means a glasss of wine and tip wasnearly a tenner.
now for very very very average food this was quite simply a joke and I will never go there again also they cover there food in basil all the time or some herb or other and that is all you can taste.
