"Deliveries from HELL"A review of Pizza Hut by Bozy - Friday 23rd of April 2004Advertisements
Like most Pizza Hut customers delivery is made from the nearest Pizza Hunt. We understand that and accept that. We don't expect service with a smile from the delivery person. WE don't expect the veh. they come in to have more than 4 tires and engine and enough to get to our home. What we do expect is that the order will arrive correctly, that the drink we order arrive and that if we have requested cheese packets or ranch dressing for the chicken wings that they come with the meal. We consistantly have some sort of a problem. Either the pizza isn't what we ordered, or they forget the drinks, or no cheese. They always run back to the store get it and return. In the mean time you either eat without a drink. Watch the food get cold. or half of the family and or guests eat while the others wait for whatever is missing. This happening one time every now and then is one thing. Again perfection would be nice but not expected. As the years have gone on we have finally insisted that the order arrive at one time complete. The last time we simply sent the order back...yes we dared to refuse it...and call in a new order. Explained the situation and although I am sure the orginal food came back out with the missing pieces of our order we did for the first time in quite awhile get it all at the same time. Previously we have even called Pizza Hut's main customer service office and complained. And use the coupons they have provided. Hopeing such a complaint might make a difference. Well it has. Tonight my son called in our order. They took the order and then advised him they were not delivering. I called back and started out asking if they were running deliveries tonight. They advised that they were. I then placed the order. The employee on the other line started to panic as the computer screen advised him that the manager had flag us as customers not to deliver too... after being on hold for minutes without reason provided the employee advised us that the manager had qued the computer to advise them not to accept delivery orders from us because of prior problems. I only commented to the employee that yes there had been problems are their end repeatedly. It wasn't the poor employees problem. It amazes us that rather than refusing to deliver to us the manager could of just resolved the problem by incorporating checks and balances to be sure every order to ALL customers were complete. Someone might ask why did you continue to order. In general we like the food...our only problem was the service. But then recent action taken by the local Topeka KS Pizza Hut resturant probably explains why the problem exists in the first place. Lack of taking responsibility and action. |
