"Spectacularly poor"

A review of The Regal by Anonymous - Tuesday 11th of May 2004

The Regal is for you if you like: -

Microwave curries
Warm beer
Warm glasses
Dirty glasses
Poor service
Service lacking a smile
Delays on your food
Microwaved ribs
Microwaved pies
Microwaved desserts
Microwaved... Ok you get the point
Beer gardens in the shade
No music

I had possibly the worst night of my life in the Regal. The food was late, and tasted rubbery. The beer was flat and warm, none of the management seemed willing to help, the bar staff tried at least! A symptom of having a student workforce more intelligent than the incumbant managers.
