"Great location shame about the food."

A review of The Boat House by Tara - Sunday 23rd of May 2004

The pub is in a good location (and has a small car park), and is a great place to spend the afternoon drinking by the river. BUT the food is bad - can it really be so difficult to cook a burger or make a salad? The burger was over-cooked and tasteless , the bun was solid and the salad was limp and unhealthy looking. Just stick to the beer.
