I love the Bay Trading Co. - but where as the clothes are fabulous the staff appear to wish they were anywhere but at work. When I rang to enquire after a pair of shoes, I was fobbed off repeatedly "shoe lady is not in/ not my job" until I was simply told "she didn't think they'd have them"... Maybe this is representative of all shop assistants, so perhaps I should get used to it - but doesn't the job title require them to assist?
