"Facts : as apparently seen by J . Baggaley"

A review of British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) by Arniemac - Saturday 12th of June 2004

James Baggaley cited the case ( ? ) of the Ottoman Empire , which , according to him , preceded the West's ability to count.{ The world's most modern and sophisticated machine, the computer, uses the ancient western method of counting as did the tally stick wielder.} For James B's information , it is he, and not those about which he mewls, who should get the facts straight. The Ottoman Empire was called into being by Turkish tribesmen at the decline of the Byzantine Empire, in the 14th. century : rather later , I fancy , than the primitive finger ticking lifestyle described as being the norm for the non-Semitic ( check before you scream ) West. On the plus side for the gentleman concerned , algebra is of Arabic extraction, as the term itself proclaims Al Gebra.
