I'm currently with Abbey National, who charge me for going in to the bank to get my money out - £3 a time. I have my monthly salary paid in there and they wouldn't even consider giving me a temporary overdraft of £50 when I was going to have to wait 3 days for my money to be paid in! I just want a nice bank. I don't even want an overdraft really but would like to think that if I was in dire straits that they might offer to help. I shall check out the Co-op interest rates and see about changing! ...and anyway, I hear they are pretty ethical!
