"Good Service with Digital Village for 20yrs"

I read with sadness the angry article damning Digital Village as "a pretty dreadful company".
To balance things out I wish to point out that I have always had clean dealings with the company and I sympathise with the Digital Village team having to cope with those occasional disgruntled customers on short fuses expecting the universe to revolve around themselves and themselves alone.
The Cambridge Branch has always shown me patience, courtesy, willingness and have always followed through with their promises. I have bought a lot of equipment from them and will continue to do so in the future.
I live over in Ireland now but still decided to purchase another system from them recently. I spent a lot of time on the telephone with them prior to the purchase and if the assistant I needed wasn't available at the time, they always phoned me back. And if there was a delay whilst they were still trying to sort out my issue, I would receive a courtesy call informing me that they were still on the case.
This standard of service has been unwavering in all the 20 years I have been dealing with them. I have a particular hatred of bad attitude, in the past to the point of near-obsession, and so am very sensitive to being on the receiving end. These guys, I can assure you, do their very best in a world of increasing pressures where I bet they get little thanks. Yet they will still have a cup of tea for you and a smile.
