"Butchers should be closed down"

Eating meat is an incredibly bad idea. Animals are at the top of the food chain, and so have all the diseases of the animals they ate, and the animals that those animals ate etc. 
 
Also modern farms use harmful chemicals and unnatural farming methods, making the animals they rear even less healthy. 
 
Don't get suckered into it by what the government says. They claimed British Beef was totally safe before the BSE crisis. They are only interested in the money generated by the meat industry.
