"The working life of a shop assistant"

Shop assistants may have long working hours in this day and age. But atleast when it comes to 5 or 6 in the evening they can shut up shop and go home and think about nothing in particular. What about other professions that have to work horrid shifts very often without the half hour lunch break they are entitled to and very often going home from shift well after the shift finishes. Then going home to do 3-4 hours study before they can start their social life.
Shop assistants would not work the hours that other professions do and not complain. My line of work our shifts are 0700-1500 1400-2130 2100-0730 very often you can be on a 1400-2130 and not go home until 2230 and still have to be back the next day at 0700.
so shop peoaple stop moaning. And when customer say not to ring before 1530 because they are on night shift they really do mean it so get real please and remember there are othe careers in this world other than shop assistants.
