"Excellent pub"

I really recommend this pub. It has a wonderful traditional English pub atmosphere, full of character and makes a for a refreshing change from all the modern pubs which have become so commonplace in Cambridge.

The service is polite and friendly (perhaps a little on the slow side, but not too bad), and the clientel are on the whole mature and welcoming.

There's also a patch of grass oposite the pub, where you can take your pint, to enjoy it on the bank of the River Cam. On a mellow Summer's eve, that's priceless.
