"Competitive prices and good offers for students – Cantab Millenium"
A review of Cantab Millenium Computers by Brian - Wednesday 1st of September 2004
Normally you go to a large computer company and they charge the earth for components. There is a wealth of internet sites for cheap computer components, but frankly I don’t trust half of them. I have only recently got into computers and was greatly impressed to find Cantab Millenium could help me to learn more about my computer. Some places are after profit and blind you with (computer) science and babble on about the latest giga-whatsit. It was nice to find that in my stage of life I am not alien from new technology for once. The staff were very helpful. My son happens to have a friend working there who clued him in to offers available for students. Its a shame you cant get get 10% off if you present your college card to them. I have to admit, I have used my son’s card at PC World more than once. A little naughty, I know, but you have to take advantage of such offers. I now am the proud owner of a 2.4GHz Intel system with 1Gb of DDR Ram and with the new acquisition of a DVD-RW drive. With the help of the staff and my son for guidance I have built my own PC and a short while ago I would have been confused by the whole field. Well trained staff. Well done to Cantab Millenium.
