I have been with Cambridge Building Society for some years now and find them a good place to bank. I am getting on in years now and have a personal pension with them which I will be cashing in soon. The service I get is great and they are very much a small local bank, compared to all these global banks you get in the high street now. Everything is so high tech that people forget they are dealing with people. I like a bank that sees a person as a person.
I recently had a problem in which I didnâ€™t have enough money to sort out a debit to my account. I was glad to say that Cambridge building society managed it well and even repaid the interest when they found that it was due to circumstances beyond my control.
I have also previously had loans from them and have to say I had few problems with them. They are quick to iron out problems with payments and are understanding of individual needs. Iâ€™m glad there is still a bank out there like it.
