"Pet insurance - in worrying times"

I have had my cat for almost thirteen years now and it is getting on in cat years. It recently had a serious illness which meant it had to have surgery on a tumour. I have a very friendly vet, of course, I know him well, but you can’t get away from the fact that these things are expensive and can be very worrying for any pet lover.
The Halifax gave me pet insurance at a very reasonable rate. It was a very disconcerting time for me and my family as Noodles was very much a part of our family. She recovered from the operation and was fine. She is still a little tender but has recovered to full health and I couldn’t have had this done without the pet insurance covering everything. It was a great help and a weight off our minds.
We also have a dog as a pet and if anything were to happen to him it would be taken care of by our insurance. You get a complete deal or you can take out individual pets if you wish, if one is likely to get ill. But, the complete pet insurance is very cheap considering you get peace of mind
