"Friendly service and quality rooms at the Assisi"

A review of Assisi Hotel by Steve - Wednesday 15th of September 2004

The Assisi Guest House is a fine place to stay in Cambridge. It’s a well-kept, homely establishment run by a friendly, hard working Italian family, who provide nice, clean rooms at very reasonable prices and also cook for you.

The guest house is popular with foreign and English holidaymakers, who will be made to feel at home, and the family run aspect also adds a nice personal touch to the service.

Situated half way down Cherry Hinton Road, it’s slightly out of town but still within easy reach of the city centre. The station is even closer, so whether you want to see Cambridge itself or escape to the surrounding area, you can’t go wrong.

The ice cream business next door is also run by the same family (see what I mean about hard working?), so look out for their ice cream stalls around the city centre!
