"Confused about returns policy?"
A review of Eisenegger by Manager - Wednesday 15th of September 2004
Hopefully this may set the record straight... Trading standards state that NO retail outlet(Eisenegger/Foxhole or any company for that matter) are under any obligation to offer an exchange, credit note or refund. These are only offered as a goodwill gesture. As a manager for one of these branches for over 18 months I don't entirely agree with the policy, however, the unfortunate thing is that the policy guards against the 1% of people who steal from shops with the intention to return the goods and obtain the value of the items by way of cash refund. The other 99% of valued customers that we serve have to be subjected to this policy for that reason. I know people think it is unfair to be treated like that, but the dilemma is either we can provide lower prices for clothes and retain our policy or, introduce a no quibble refund policy and be forced to increase our prices.
