I know that the choice of food for vegans is pretty limited in Cambridge, but the Varsity Restaurant takes this limit to unexplored standards.
Not only was I informed that they did not have anything vegan on the menu, I was also told (quite politely though) that there was no point in asking the 'chef' if he could accomodate my choice, as he would definitely refuse to change his menu.
This was on an afternoon that had two other diners in the entire restaurant.

Needless to say I do not think very highly of this place.
