"Burger King in North Platte is repulsive!"
A review of Burger King by Concerned - Thursday 23rd of September 2004
North Platte, Nebraska's Burger King should be closed for a good cleaning and repair and staff training. They have a playground and caboose party train. When you enter the playground area it smells horribly like dirty feet, obviously there are quite a few children running in and out in their socks. But the odor would more then likely come from the playground not being cleaned properly. The caboose party train is almost if not worse, you literally stick to the carpet on the floor and the walls if you lean against them you could very well stick to them also, obviously because they do not clean it properly either. I know that they just did a good cleaning of staff, which was desperately needed! Unfortunately they still need to understand what customer service is? Do they train these people or are they hired based upon their rudeness!?! The only reason why I am complaining is because I have lived here all of my life and our Burger King has never impressed me. I have been in the restaurant business for quite a few years, I know how you treat customers and how to prepare food and how to clean!! Now I have a child and of course she loves to go there because of the playground, but I refuse to go based upon I am worried we may catch something. I gave in last night and took my daughter there for the first time in about 8 months. It was worse then ever, I couldn't even eat in the playground because it smelled so bad and my daughter showed me where half of the padding was missing on some of the bars in the playground, which is very unsafe. The service was a little better but they still ignored me when I asked for the chicken strips that were suppposed to be in my childs Kids Meal in the first place. I would like to know how this Burger King can still be open? It is very unclean in the whole restaurant, playground, caboose party train and parking lot! The food is not warm, prepared correctly nor is it even appealing. There has to be something we can do about that? I know what I am going to do about it, I will not be eating there ever again!
