"20 year old fly rod"

I was given a fly rod by my parents 20 years ago when they visited me in New Zealand and it has served me well all around the World.My latest catch is a 20lb Samson fish here in WA at the Abrolhos Islands plus WA Snappper to 15lb.It it an 8/9 weight 10ft reservoir 2 piece.Are these rods still made? The nano technology available these days for fly rods is wasted in my opinion.
