"In all fairness"

I had a cut at a Toni and Guy salon (not recently) and was really upset at the result , it wasn't what I had asked for (being a hairdresser I knew what cut I could have). 
 
It's amazing, salon hairdressers don't understand how customers feel when they have received a service they are not happy with. All you want to do is "get the hell out of there! Gather your thoughts and sometimes follow up with a complaint". 
 
I decided not to complain to the salon in question as the staff didn't seem approachable - but I did complain via email to their head office. 
 
The Head Office couldn't have been nicer - they offered me a free haircut at any of their salons to sort the problem out - which I accepted and was very pleased with the result.  
 
I have recently had a real cock-up of a colour service - NOT Toni & Guy and I am returning to the Toni and Guy studio to have this rectified (I have asked for a stylist that is trained in colour corrections by L'Oreal). I don't think I will be getting a refund from the salon that ruined my colour, although I have tried - but there are times you just don't want to return.  
 
Always ask for a competent stylist and ask friends for recommendations - it's the best compliment a hairdresser can have!
