" Friday lunchtime chaos?"

A review of The Eagle by Peter - Friday 24th of June 2005

Today was the Friday luchtime when students get their Finals results; it's high summer, people have finished work for the weekend.Hundreds of tourists around. So what do the Eagle management do? Lay on one person to serve behind the front bar on a very busy luchtime. Long queues of hot and frustrated customers reult. The bloke behind the bar did well in the circumstances, but surely this could have been better organized. A lack of respect for customer comfort in favour of cheaper operating costs? Don't know, but not sure I will be back in a hurry.
