"The best it's ever been?"

A review of The Portland Arms by Mr C - Friday 5th of August 2005

The pub is now under new owners, Steve & Hayley, who seem to have changed the pub from a grotty venue into a venue cambridge should be proud of. It is now clean, the netbar is gone and a games room taken it's place. Really good food is served and they have even found a courtyard to open for the summer!
It seems more alive today than it's ever been but still has that relaxed atmosphere. I am very pleased with the modern addition of air conditioning to the gig room though!

If you have not visited recently I suggest you take another look.
