The Cambridge Online website (https://www.cambridgeonline.co.uk) is managed by Cambridge Search Engine Limited. This page sets out our terms and conditions for accessing the website. If you wish to contact us regarding them, please do so using our contact form.

Throughout these terms and conditions, we refer to the https://www.cambridgeonline.co.uk website as 'Cambridge Online', we refer to the company Cambridge Search Engine Limited as 'CSE', 'we' or 'us', and we refer to the page content contained within our network of Web sites as 'the Content'. These terms and conditions apply whenever you access any part of Cambridge Online.

Changes to terms & conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to any part of Cambridge Online to update and improve it. It may therefore be necessary to change these terms and conditions. Any changes we make to the terms and conditions will be reflected on this page.

Copyright

All material within Cambridge Online, including all texts, programming, HTML source code, photos, graphics and logos is protected by copyright. Unauthorised duplicating, transmitting, marketing, publishing, or commercially exploiting it by other means in an electronic or other form is expressly prohibited.

Acceptable use

Cambridge Online, including facilities which enable its visitors to add content, may be used for lawful purposes only and in compliance with all current and future statutes in force.

You agree not to use Cambridge Online to publish materials or data which are in violation of any law or regulation or which are defamatory, offensive, abusive, indecent, obscene or in breach of confidence, privacy, trade secrets or in breach of any third party Intellectual Property rights (including copyright) or in breach of any other rights.

CSE reserves the right to remove any material deemed to be in breach of any of these terms without notice, and make available such material when required to do so by law or when requested to do so by regulatory bodies or law enforcement organisations.

Privacy

Liabilities

Cambridge Online provides facilities, which enable its visitors to add content to Cambridge Online. CSE is not responsible for the contents added by third parties, as long as it has no knowledge of them.

CSE does not examine or edit the use to which you or others put Cambridge Online or the nature of the content or information being accessed.

In your use of Cambridge Online and interaction with other users of Cambridge Online, you may be exposed to materials, information, or content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. You acknowledge that all information, data, text, photographs, graphics, reviews, messages and other materials whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated.

Any sponsors, advertisers, affiliates, or other parties who place materials, information, or content on Cambridge Online are solely responsible for any such materials, information, or content and the products or services to which they relate. CSE has no responsibilities with respect to any of the foregoing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are expressly excluded from liability of any kind arising from any Content, including, but not limited to errors or omissions in any Content, any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed or otherwise transmitted via Cambridge Online.

You agree that except for death or personal injury arising through our negligence, we shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage arising from use of Cambridge Online.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us and any of our employees and service providers harmless, from all and any expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses of any character incurred or suffered and any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened, in each case arising from your use of, or conduct on, Cambridge Online and/ or a breach of these terms and conditions.
