Accessed by a short, pleasant woodland walk from the village of Grantchester, Byron's Pool is a natural pool where Bourn Brook meets the River Cam. Formerly a favourite bathing spot for poets Rupert Brooke and, reportedly, Lord Byron, the pool is now dominated by a weir. Based in Grantchester Road, Trumpington, Byron's Pool is a local attraction.
