When I worked for Maplin, one year the idiot manager put on the music in November! With luck the area manager was in and heard the howls of protest from the customers. A quiet word in the office and sanity was resumed...

I found that in general when people play THEIR choice of music it is to the detriment of the customers. The idea was to keep them INSIDE THE STORE GUYS!.
