A review of Brasserie Gerard by Lynne written on Tuesday 7th of March 2006
We booked a table for 1pm Saturday 4th March 2006 but knew by 12.30 we wouldnt be in time for the 1pm slot as we were held up on the motorway. We contacted the restaurant and was told we could reserve our table until 2pm. We arrived at 2pm to be greated warmly. The service was attentive and the food we chose was brilliant. Our party of 6 all had different choices and everyone was well pleased. The only thing I would say is the wine is quite expensive but the food we couldnt fault. Will eat here again in the summer, hopefully on the terrace looking out over Covent Garden. Many thanks for an enjoyable experience.
Ps. We went on then to The Ritz for afternoon tea - that was something else!!!!!
