"Very poor example of spanish cooking"

A review of La Tasca by Sam Martin written on Monday 29th of May 2006

I hope people don't come to La Tasca in Cambridge and find themselves put off spanish food in general. We are very fond of tapas and have previously visited other outlets in the La Tasca chain with reasonably favourable results. In contrast the quality bar for cambridge seems to have been set exceptionally low. Tough uninteresting meats, old seafood, terrible canned tomato sauces, *dried parmesan* on a reheated aubergine bake - all universally terrible. Spanish cooking is all about the quality of the ingredients and clearly no expense was placed on any of theirs. .
