A review of Footlights Restaurant & Bar by Glenda Wylde written on Wednesday 30th of April 2003
Our son wanted his 18th Party at Footlights and I was worried about booking it after I read some of the things said on your website, but as it turned out I need not have worried at all.
The person who took my order had a lovely clear Scottish accent, he was attentive to my needs, gave me heeps of advice and sent me a few nice menu ideas (brilliantly personalised with my sons name).
They were not only the only restaurant that did this they were the only one that seemed to care whether we came or not and two of the others wouldn't even consider our party of 18 people (too rowdy they said - bloody cheek I said.
Footlights was great fun - Our waiter (Oscar) should get a medal and the price was very reasonable. Food was slow to come - but you can't have everything - and the way we were treated made up for nearly everything.
VERDICT: A great place for a party with the music a great mix for everyone..
