Heffers have been the main players in Cambridge bookselling for over 100 years and their shop still offers all the elements that make for a good bookshop - nice ambience, helpful staff, and (most importantly) a wide range of stock covering all subject fields. Excellent for the academic end of the market, but also good for more general things like cookery, travel, maps, popular fiction, biography, etc. Definitely the first choice for book shopping in Cambridge..
