"First day cover rip off? No way!"

I realise the negative review 'First Day Cover Rip Off!' was given in February 2004, however I have purchased numerous items from Cambridge Stamp Centre in August 2006. Their prices were fair & consistent with the Royal Mail cover prices & also with SG prices. Big deal if they are a few pence (not £pounds) over the listed guidelines. The stamps are no longer available through the post office etc as they are no longer in production. Therefore we buy the stamps through dealers or via the secondhand market. It is up to the buyer to decide what they are willing to pay for items, which are no longer available new (as it were!). I found the staff to be polite, friendly & helpful & their prices were certainly not out of the ordinary..
