I have just complained regrading the terrible marketing ploy ALDI employed regarding the marketing and sale of the large screen TVs whi

After waitng for over an hour i entered the store to be told there was only 8 for sale and they were all gone!

At no time during the advertising/marketing of this product was there a mention of limited supply or stock of this item

It seems to be another cheap marketing ploy treating us the customer with contempt.

When i to tried to make a complaint in store i was treated with indifference and told it was first come first served, i then pointed out that it was more a case of turn up early get a voucher and return at your lesuire

I have shopped at Aldi for years and never been dissapointed, until today

If the product was marketed honestly and not just as a loss leader designed to generate more custom, I would not have problem. I would congatulate any person who queued and got one.

However to market as freely available, not stockeded in limited numbers smacks of deceipt and leaves a bad taste in my mouth

This is not a caes of sour grapes, i feel we the customers have been deliberately misled and treated with contempt

I have shopped at Aldi for years and have never been disappointed, until today

Aldi have not only lost my custom, they lost my friends and familys custom which I’m sure is worth a lot more than the £850.00 price of the few and far between TVs
