A review of Aldi by Tim Wain written on Wednesday 15th of November 2006
I bought a Tevion R100LB DVD Recorder in May 2005. It worked but had a problem with SKY connection. I phoned the service number supplied with the Recorder and they arranged for a door step exchange the next day. Great service. For the next 16 months I never had a problem. Last month, the remote didn't work and I phoned the Aldi service line to report the fault. Thay advised that they didn't deal with this model directly any more and gave me new service contact details with another company. I phoned them- no problem, they said they would post me a new remote and I got it the next day. Great service. Two days ago, the DVD tray wouldn't open. I phoned the new service contact number, explained the problem and they have said they will deliver and exchange the unit- tomorrow!!I can't fault Aldi, their service or their associates in any way at all.
