A review of The Gandhi Indian Cuisine Restaurant by 13 satisfied ladies written on Tuesday 21st of November 2006
On sat 18th Nov 2006, myself and 12 girlfriends went to the Ghandi for a meal. Just wanted to say, people are so quick to complain that i think it makes a nice change to read a glowing report! Bearing in mind we originally wanted to eat Italian in Cambridge, however found no one would seat 13 of us for 8pm, we decided a curry was the only option & arent we glad we made that decision? The only drawback is they need to extend their rose wine menu as the only choice was Mateus Rose?!(ok if you like that sort of thing!?), but food, service, courteous and friendly staff, more than made up for it? We we taken down to what seemed to be the cellar where we had our own room, to be as rowdy in as we wanted (anyone who has ever gone out for a nice romantic meal and had a noisy group sat next to them will understand!!) food was fab, & we were all really impressed! So well done & thanks very much!!! Special thanks to our Waiter Ali, who was a very good sport when faced with 13 slightly tipsy girls!!!!!.
