"Great Bikes, Awful Service!!"

A review of Howes Cycles by Adam written on Sunday 11th of February 2007

They sell great bikes, but their service is appalling!

I bought a very expensive bike from them and their after-sales service was terrible. They didn't seem to want to help after I bought the bike.

I also bought some mudguards which I was told would take a few minutes to fit, but there were no instructions supplied and several vital screws missing so I was unable to fit them. When I returned them, I was told I had to drill some holes in the mudguard for them to fit my bike, which wasn't explained when I first bought them, which again contradicts their confidence that it would only take me a few minutes to fit them!
