Having worked there i will of course always LOVE it! but from the badgers (no not animals, insane group of people, several of which ran naked through the pub) to the locals (hen, pete, etc etc), to the brilliant bar staff.

during the week in the day, it is a perfect place to relax, have a couple of beers or eat or read a newspaper.

sat lunchtime i do not recommend it as i will admit, food orders are often wrong and it takes A Helluva long time for food to be served.

nights are brilliant, staff are always friendly. you are always welcome whether youre fifteen stag night lads which occur frequently or a couple of people wanting a quiet drink (the pub may be small but it can accomodate all sorts in one night).

all round, ive never heard a bad word said about it...food always has good reports from the steak and ale pie to the chicken ceaser salad.

its always a good experience at the baron for all..
