A review of Aldi by Yorkie written on Tuesday 24th of April 2007
I have read numerous complaints about Aldi aftersales performance that I find difficult to understand. Over the past three years I have bought numerous items from Aldi and I find the aftersales brilliant.
In November 2004 I purchased a Medion PC - after three months the onboard audio failed. Two days later the technician arrived, changed the motherboard and all was well until last month when the DVD Writer decided it had lost interest in life. Fortyeight hours later I received a new drive through the post.
This did not solve the problem, another 48 hours and the technician arrived at my door, sorted the problem in 20 minutes - no charge. Not bad for a 2.1/2 year old computer - try getting that service from one of the major high street players.
My experience has been 'brilliant Aldi'.
