Having managed to puchase one of the special offer 47inch LCD TV at the fantastic price (£1099)to play my PS3 games and Blueray movies player. I now find that the TV does not support the sound of this machine. I followed the advice of experts who said I need a version 1.3 HDMI cable but this has made no difference. Sky HD works fine through the TV speakers but I have to play the PS3 through my suround sound system. does anyone else have the same problem and did you find a solution?????

Had the same problem. Using a component HD cable solves the problem. Can pick one up from HMV for about £12.

Otherwise TV is great...... sound, I've heard worse but not many. Anyone who buys a TV this size knowing HD audio capability should have a 5.1 sound system minimum anyway. The onboard speakers do the job they were designed for..
