A review of The Rupert Brooke by Clare written on Thursday 14th of June 2007
I visited the Rupert Brooke on 12th June with my partner at lunchtime and we had a lovely time sitting on the new patio area at the front of the restaurant.
I had the butternut squash risotto which had just the right amount of garlic and fresh herbs and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his Rupert Brooke burger which he had chosen to have topped with stilton and bacon.
We deliberated over the dessert menu before plumping for the chocolate brownie which can only be described as scrummmy!
The service was polite and friendly and even though we were outside and it appeared to be very busy we were still served quickly.
We will definatly be back.
